C4 Code Education service was created to provide the professional training that is required by the Bureau of Construction Codes and the related legislation that it enforces.
C4 Code Education is an extension of a professional association of State of Michigan Building Officials know as the DownRiver Association of Code Officials. (D.R.A. C.O.) DRACO was established in 1990 and currently is composed of inspector members from over 75 southeastern Michigan municipalities.
C4 Code Education uses the educational expertise that keeps the DRACO members current and up to date on construction code changes and interpretation. This educational expertise is now being provided to the private sector contractors and trade professionals. Construction professionals are trained by the best instructors that the built industry has to offer.
This training and continued educational service is being provided at a cost effective price and at convenient sites, dates and times for all construction trade members.

Michigan Construction Code
The staff of the Michigan Bureau of Construction Codes (BCC), part of the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth, are charged to assure that the built environment are sound, safe and sanitary; building users' health, safety and welfare are protected; and through a coordinated program of code compliance, investigation and training, there is consistent application of standards.
